Meld them immediately and start a Wild Card Canasta

2. You and your partner have already melded your Initial Requirement, but you are still deciding whether to start a Wild Card Canasta. How many wild cards should your team have before committing?

3. Your partner has melded their Initial Requirement, and you have two Jokers in hand. What should you do?
Immediately add your wild cards to their meld.

Discard a 10-point card to confirm your team has five wilds and can attempt a Wild Card Canasta
Discard a 5-point card to indicate you have fewer than two wild cards
Immediately start a Wild Card Canasta
Ignore the signal and keep playing normally
5. It’s near the end of the round, and your opponent looks ready to go out. You only have a Joker and a 5 left in your hand. What should you do?
Meld the Joker immediately so you don’t get stuck with penalty points
Keep the Joker and hope your opponent doesn’t go out
Discard the Joker—it’s too risky to hold
Ask your partner what to do
