Guest is our free membership level. Ad-Free Member removes ads and provides additional features for a modest monthly price. Premium Member is the full experience, including unlimited Live Play with audio chat and a free CLA Membership.

Guest is entirely free and includes unlimited Solitaire games playing with our Basic robots, a user account with multi-platform access, and a welcome gift of 50 CJ Tokens so you can try our Duplicate tournaments.

Being a Member removes ads entirely, gives you a choice between our Basic or Advanced robots, unlimited Solitaire, multi-platform access, and a welcome gift of 100 CJ Tokens for playing duplicate games. New members who choose to join with an Ad-Free membership receive a 7-day free trial. Note that an Ad-Free membership does not include Live Play, CLA Membership or Premium tournaments.

Everything that Ad-Free member have, plus unlimited Live Play with audio chat, a CLA Membership ($20 value/year) and access to Premium Duplicate tournaments. New members joining at Premium tier also get a 14-day free trial.

The easiest way is right from the welcome pop-ups you’ll see when you open the Canasta Junction app: they present each membership and help you join CJ. You can also go to your profile at any time (click on the top-left corner after you sign in to CJ.

Joining CJ as an Ad-Free or Premium Member can be done in any CJ app version (web browser or mobile). However, note that joining on a Web browser costs a bit less.

Any membership you don’t have yet appears grayed out: simply tap Subscribe on the one prefer (Ad-Free Member or Premium Member), then choose monthly or annual billing.

Your free trial begins right away if you are a new member: 7 days when joining as Ad-Free member , or 14 days if you join as a Premium member directly (don’t worry: you won’t be charged before the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before that).

As a Premium Member, you’ll also receive an email with everything you need to activate your CLA Membership, if you are not already a CLA member.

To play Solitaire without ads, simply become an Ad-Free or Premium Member: both remove advertising entirely, across the entire app.

The Basic robot is designed for a more accessible game, while the Advanced robot offers a stronger challenge. Guests can play against the Basic robot only, while Ad-Free and Premium members can choose between Basic and Advanced.

In Duplicate, every player is dealt the identical hands, so the only variable is skill. Games follow the Tournament format: six hands with initial meld requirements of 125-155-180-125-155-180. Duplicate tournaments are open to everyone: Guest, Ad-Free, and Premium Member alike — with entry paid using CJ Tokens. Premium Member also get exclusive free duplicate tournaments periodically.

Every membership includes a welcome gift of CJ Tokens: 50 for Guest (new user registering to Canasta Junction), 100 for new Ad-Free Members, and 150 for new Premium Members.

Both Ad-Free and Premium memberships remove advertising entirely, so you can play without interruptions.

Yes, as of today Solitaire is unlimited for all CJ players.

Absolutely. As soon as you register and create a CJ account, you can sign in using a web browser or a mobile app. Canasta Junction is available as a free download in both the App Store (iPhones and iPads) and the Google Play store (Android phones and tablets).

Mechanically, yes — your membership renews and is billed like one, which is why Apple, Google, and Stripe use the word “subscription” on their billing and receipts.
But unlike an online service you use on your own, like a streaming video or news subscription, Canasta Junction is a club: a community of members who play together, chat at the table, and connect with each other.

The CLA Membership connects you to the Canasta League of America community: exclusive strategic content, a space to connect with CLA members and certified instructors, blog articles, exclusive access to cruises and retreats, to and other benefits.

Canasta Junction will take care of your CLA membership dues in the future, as long as you remain a Premium Member (it is not included with Guest or Ad-Free membership.) They’re two separate memberships from two partner organizations.

Your CJ Membership is with Canasta Junction and covers your access to the app (which features are available to you depends on your tier). The CLA Membership is with the Canasta League of America, an independent organization working to standardize and grow Modern American Canasta Worldwide.

Canasta Junction has partnered with the CLA, so while you’re a CJ Premium Member, Canasta Junction covers your CLA membership dues. If your CJ Premium Membership ends, your CLA membership ends too. Learn more about the CLA at  canastaleague.org.

If you join through our web browser app (PLAY NOW button above), the Premium membership is just $7.90/month or $79/year (you only pay $6.59/month with the annual plan).

Members joining through the mobile stores (App Store or Google Play Store) will pay $8.90/month or $89/year ($7.42/month if billed annually). The higher price reflects the more expensive billing fees charged by mobile stores.

Yes. Paying annually works out to a lower effective monthly rate for both Ad-Free and Premium membership. In fact, by paying your membership fees for the entire years saves you the equivalent to two months! See the pricing sections just above.

Yes. Both Ad-Free and Premium memberships are available with monthly or annual billing, on Web and on the Mobile App.

Yes. Ad-Free Member comes with a 7-day free trial, and Premium Member with a 14-day free trial, so you can explore everything included before your subscription begins (note: free trials are only available to new members, as it is not available to members switching tiers or reactivating their membership).

No, there’s nothing you need to do. Your Live Play subscription automatically becomes a Premium membership, and you’ll receive a separate email with the information you need to activate your CLA account.

Yes, entirely to your benefit: your subscription is upgraded to Premium Member, which includes everything you enjoy with a Live Play subscription today, plus a CLA Membership, exclusive free Premium Duplicate tournaments, and 150 CJ Tokens. Premium Member fees are slightly higher than the Live Play subscription charged. This adjustment accounts for the CLA Membership and other new benefits included, as well as our ongoing commitment to future improvements and special events reserved for Premium members.

Yes. Ad-Free and Premium Member renew automatically at the end of each billing period. To avoid being charged again, simply cancel before your current period ends (for cancelations, please see previous question).

It depends on where you signed up:

• iPhone / iPad: in your device’s Settings, tap your name, then Payment & Shipping (Apple manages your billing).
• Android: in the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions (Google manages your billing information).
• Web: in your Canasta Junction account settings on canastajunction.com — click on your profile to manage your subscription. Payments on Web are processed securely by Stripe.
